Just a reminder that tonight is the Homecoming Parade and Football Game with the Homecoming Dance following tomorrow night. The Parade will start at 5:45p from the Old Elementary in Owensville. The Homecoming Dance is 7p-10p. For everyone attending the homecoming dance tomorrow- you MUST arrive before 8 PM in order to enter the dance. Once you have entered, you may not leave until the dance is over at 10 PM.
If you have purchased a digital ticket to the dance, please be sure to have the QR code pulled up on your cellphone while waiting in line. For those who plan to purchase tickets at the door, it is $15 and cash only.
There is no school on Friday, September 30th, it is a Teacher Professional Development Day.
Kona Ice
Students will have the opportunity to purchase a treat from Kona Ice on Thursday, September 29th once lunches have concluded.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
High School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be after school on Thursday, October 6th until 8p. If you are interested in meeting with your child’s teachers, please contact Ms. Leiman to schedule a conference. She can be reached at leiman_j@cneschools.org or 513-625-1211 x110.
PSAT
Juniors interested in taking the PSAT test can sign up now in the guidance office.
The test is on October 12 at 7:20 AM. The test cost $20 and needs to be paid at the time of sign up. There is a limited number of tests, so first come first served for sign up.
Juniors who take the test and earn certain scores may qualify for scholarship opportunities. This registration is for juniors only until September 30. Should there be spaces available after September 30, this opportunity will be open to other grade levels. The scholarship opportunities through the PSAT program are limited to juniors only.
The PSAT is a great low cost way to get legitimate practice taking a high stakes test. Additionally, after the test, you have free access to customized practice opportunities through Kahn Academy to help prepare for college entrance exams like the SAT and ACT.

UC Clermont Open House
UC Clermont College will host a Fall Open House for future students on Thursday, Oct. 6 from 5-7 p.m. in the Student Activities Center at 4200 Clermont College Drive, Batavia, Ohio. Prospective students can preview programs, meet faculty, tour campus and discuss financial aid with staff that will be available to answer questions.
