Below is information about a Resume/Cover Letter Workshop; CCP Information Night; the schedule for February 25th; and the 4th Quarter Learning Decision Survey.  Have a great day!

College and Career Ready Rockets Event

On Tuesday, February 23rd the High School will host a virtual resume and cover letter workshop at 6p.  This event is open to all students and their families.  There will be presentations from Ohio Means Jobs, the Clermont County Library, and local HR professionals.  We are able to hold this workshop with support from the Comprehensive State Literacy Development Grant the High School received as we work to ensure all students are college and career ready.

Students and families can register for the event at http://bit.ly/3qUl2B4.  We will send a Zoom link to those who have registered a few days before the scheduled workshop.  Please contact Mrs. Fox with any questions – fox_c@cneschools.org.

CCP Information Session

There have been some staff changes at UC which will require CNE families to attend UC's College Credit Plus general information session on February 25 from 6-7:30, not February 24 as originally scheduled with our school.  UC apologizes for the cancellation and hopes to see our students and parents on the 25th!

To attend, you MUST register at the following link. Once registration is complete, you will be emailed the link to join which you should use at the time of the presentation.

https://www.uc.edu/aas/ccp.html

If unable to attend, please still register so that UC has your contact information to reach out and direct you to a recording of the presentation at a later time.

Following the meeting, if you have questions, please contact Mrs. Comisar in the high school guidance office at comisar_a@cneschools.org.

Again we apologize that UC changed the date.  We are required by the State of Ohio to invite families in grades 6-12.

Remote Learning on February 25th

Earlier this week the district announced that Thursday, February 25th would be a remote learning day for all students so staff can receive the 1st dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.  By        9 a.m. on the 25th high school teachers will post assignments in Google Classroom for students to complete.  Teachers will be available throughout the day to answer questions via email and provide assistance as needed.

We are still required to report attendance on remote learning days so assignment completion will be used to determine whether a student was present or not.  Students will have until midnight on the 25th to complete their assignments.

4th Quarter Parent Survey

4th Quarter Learning Decision is Now Open

First, we would like to thank everyone for the continued patience and flexibility. The data received from the survey is utilized to make adjustments to learning plans.

To complete the survey visit https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeORYMj4ARwsciDfPXt4D5yQzpUy0edpsQD2dlZvK979qtl6w/viewform.

We continue to plan for the return of students to in-person. Clermont Northeastern is committed to giving families the choice at the end of each quarter to switch between remote and in-person throughout the 2020-2021 school year.

At this time we are asking for families to select in-person learning or remote learning for the second quarter. The 4th quarter begins Monday 3/15/21 and runs through the end of the year. Those families who select remote instruction will be required to stay in the program until the end of the year.

Please complete ONE SURVEY PER CHILD even if the choice for the 4th quarter is going to stay the same.

4th quarter survey will close at the end of the day on February 25th

Please let me know if you have any questions.
