Congratulations to our High School Wrestling Team, which finished their season as the National Division Southern Buckeye Athletic and Academic Conference (SBAAC) Co-Champs! This is the first time in 30 years that the team has won the league. In addition, senior Jacob Groeber was named Wrestler of the Year for the SBAAC Conference.
Earlier in the year, the team also placed high at Sectionals, placing 6th out of 17 teams. Jacob Groeber was named Sectional Champ, Colby Johnson was Sectional Runner-Up, and Tiger Moore and Zach Case placed 3rd, qualifying each of them to compete at Districts, with Brad McIntyre and Mitchel Braden as District alternates.
At Districts, Zach Chase, Colby Johnson, and Jacob Groeber won matches, and Jacob Groeber placed 5th overall, making him a State alternate.
