Summer Enrichment

Clermont Northeastern is providing an opportunity for all families to send their student(s) to a one week summer enrichment program K-12 June 7-11. The Program will run from 8:30 to 11:30 each day. Transportation will be provided.  The summer enrichment program will have building specific offerings.   Please click on the link http://bit.ly/cnesummer in order to sign up. Families need to register children for the grade they are currently attending.

The High School

Summer enrichment opportunities at the High School will be broken down into the following mini camps:
Credit Recovery
ACT/SAT Prep
Drama Camp
Survival lessons
Creative Writing
Each enrichment opportunity would only be offered if enough students signed up.

The Middle School

Summer enrichment opportunity would be a Baseball theme for the entire week.
Day 1
Students would focus on baseball history: guest speakers and The Jackie
Robinson- Digital Breakout
Day 2
Students would focus on Literacy: Baseball Close Reading Informational Toolkit and Breakout Room
Day 3
Students would focus on the Arts this day: See a baseball themed movie at a theater.
Day 4
Students would focus on Math: Students would go out and measure the basis, discuss angles, statistics, the
order of operation, and word problems about baseball, etc. Play against staff in a baseball themed games.
Day 5
Social Studies Day: FIELD TRIP to Great America Ballpark and take a tour of the stadium and eat lunch in
Smale Park

The Elementary 

Each day will consist of 4 rotations; Math/Sci, ELA/SS, Activity (Art/Gym…) and lunch. Student academic activities will be based on either current grade level standards or a preview of a future standard.  Students will explore academic activities and be able to take home their own set of materials with directions to share with their parents. 

In-house field trips will be enjoyed by all students participating in the program. When we have a better idea of who is attending, we will match the “field trip” to groups of students. We will also engage the library and other free resources to enhance our program. 

On the final day of Summer Enrichment we will celebrate our accomplishments! Each student will receive a certificate and a book that will be pre-selected to meet the needs of students at each grade level.

Transportation will be provided. Students needing transportation must be residing in the district during the week of the enrichment program. TRANSPORTATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED OUTSIDE OF THE DISTRICT NO EXCEPTIONS There will be no before or after care available during the week. Signups run from April 9-16th. 

YOU MUST FILL OUT ONE SURVEY FOR EACH CHILD THAT YOU WISH TO ATTEND THE ENRICHMENT PROGRAM. FAMILIES NEED TO REGISTER CHILDREN FOR THE GRADE THEY ARE CURRENTLY ATTENDING.
